Our pilot decided winds were not favorable and chose not to fly today. Today was Special Shapes day and most of them did inflate and many of them did fly as well as many of the regular balloons.
I walked the field and just looked at all the special shape balloons and enjoyed the morning. There are over 100 Special Shape Balloons.

Later in the afternoon I drove out to Jerry and Karen’s house (40 minute drive) for a buffet dinner they were having. Their houseguests were there as well as Alan(Karen’s cousin, commercial airline pilot and balloonist) and his three crew members.
