The high for the day here was 53 and it is currently 37 at 8:21pm. I am enjoying this park and this town so I am staying here for a few days. It is supposed to be warmer the next few days.
I did venture out and went into a few stores and had a pedicure today.
The pictures below show two of the many tourist attractions here and they are right across the street from each other. It is pretty funny looking…..One is Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and the other is Wonderworks.
About 4:45pm I convinced myself to go out to take some photos and catch the sunset. So keep in mind as you look at the following photos I was wearing a coat, scarf and gloves and was still freezing when I took them. The ocean breezes were blowing pretty good today.
The picture above is Gator Lake….a small fresh water lake.
Lovely sunset pictures. Watch out for the alligators! I have a friend whose daughter lives in Florida–not sure where–and she was telling me that her daughter was freezing. It was about 60 degrees and sunny here today. Yesterday it was in the 40’s with a cold wind.
I hung around for some time waiting for an alligator to come along and I never saw one. I will try again another day this week.
Following you every day!!
Great….you would enjoy this area…a beautiful state park with beautiful beaches that is 5 minutes from every shopping and dining option available.
